Sandeep Gandhi
Principal
Dr. Sandeep Gandhi (B.Arch., M.Tech., Ph.D.), is a sustainable mobility expert with over 25 years of experience. During this time, he has worked extensively on research, planning, design and development of non-motorized, public transport, electric mobility and urban freight infrastructure as well operations, in multiple cities across India. His association in this field includes government bodies, private sector, developmental sector, academic and research institutes. He has not only worked on large public and non-motorized transport projects including one of the first BRT and NMT projects in the country but has also been instrumental in the development of numerous guidelines, toolkits and other capacity building material for the sector.
Satyajit Ganguly
Senior Transport Planner
Satyajit Ganguly, is an Architect Planner by profession. He has done his bachelor's in architecture from Institute of Environmental Planning and Technology (IEPT) Indore Madhya Pradesh and completed his masters in transport planning from School of Planning and architecture (SPA) Delhi. He is working with SGArchitects since 2011 till date. As an architect, he has worked for one year in the field of core architecture and was involved in the Green Buildings, residential and Interiors Projects. Later in the field of Transport Planning, worked as a transport planner in various projects covering, highways, regional transport sector, urban and public transport sector. Presently he has a work experience of 12 years in sustainable public transport and non motorized infrastructure and developed his core area of interest in this field. He has also worked on the research based transport projects like (BEAD) BRTS Evaluation and Design Tool (BEAD) and Non-Motorized Vehicle (NMV) Infrastructure Level of Service (LOS) i.e. CyLOS. Also worked as a consultant with TRIPP – IIT, Delhi in the preparation of NMT Design Manual.
Kanica Gola
Infrastructure Planner
Kanica Gola, is an Architect and Infrastructure Planner by profession. She has done her graduation in architecture in 2010 from Chitkara School of Planning and Architecture, Chandigarh and post-graduation in infrastructure planning in 2014 from Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology (CEPT University), Ahmedabad. Her core area of interest is sustainable urban transport planning and public realm design. She has worked for two years with Oasis Design Inc., New Delhi, in the field of core architecture and public realm. She was involved in group housing projects, institutional project of IHM Pusa road, Sabarmati riverfront development project, pilot project of multi modal integration of Chhatarpur metro station, and various other streetscaping and landscaping competition projects. After completing her masters, she worked as a planning consultant for four cities collaborative, New Delhi, where she worked on Multimodal Integration in and around the influence zone of nine metro stations -Phase III for UTTIPEC. Later on, she joined Clean Air Asia and Clean Energy Nepal / Clean Air Network Nepal, as a research assistant on an exchange program where she worked for one and a half year, at both national and international level. She went to Bangkok, Thailand for attending the preparatory & home coming course. Then, she was posted in Kathmandu, Nepal where she worked on urban mobility focusing on people centric approach. She worked on non-motorized transport, public bus system in Kathmandu and Pokhara. In Delhi, she was involved in conducting crowding study in public transport of Delhi with Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Also, she was part of various campaigns like KTM Walks, Women on wheels, Critical Mass Kathmandu etc. which focuses on promoting walking and cycling as sustainable modes of transportation. She has also worked with urban mass transit company ltd.(UMTC) as a planner trainee and was part of preparing detailed project reports (DPR) for Procurement of Additional Buses under extended JnNURM I for Jaipur & Asansol. She is currently working with SGArchitects and is associated with various sustainable transport related projects.
Shivanshu Singh
Architect
Shivanshu Singh is an architect by profession. He has completed his bachelor’s in architecture from Pt. LC. State University of Performing and Visual Arts, Rohtak, Haryana. He is passionately involved in architecture, graphic designing, illustrations, and planning. He has worked on a diverse range of projects of multiple scales like residential, commercial, urban design, and planning. Currently, he is working as a Junior Architect with SGArchitects.
Shivani Nandal
Architect
Shivani is an Architect by profession. She has completed her bachelor's in architecture from Pt. LC. State University of Performing and Visual Arts, Rohtak, Haryana. As an architect, she believes, architecture is more than just physical form; it is about how space communicates with its users and creates a memorable experience. Design can offer creative solutions to make our world a better place to live, thereby making a difference. She aspires to be a part of ‘CHANGE’. She believes in hard work, dedication, eagerness to learn, and never giving up on her work as "Success is the courage to continue", that counts! Currently, she is working as a Junior Architect with SGArchitects since 2022.
Inderjeet Kaur
Transport Planner
Inderjeet Kaur is a professional specializing in Transport, Urban, and Regional Planning with a strong background in Sustainable Urban Mobility and the Electric Vehicle (EV) sector. She holds a Master's degree in Transport Planning and a Bachelor's degree in Urban and Regional Planning, both from Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, where she received a gold medal for outstanding academic performance. She commenced her professional journey as a Transport Planner at SGArchitects in November 2023, actively contributing to projects related to electric mobility, spatial design of land ports, and modifications in IRC standards. Prior to this, she served as a Junior Transport Planner at ICF Consulting India Private Limited (ICF), playing a crucial role in diverse projects focused on electric mobility and last-mile connectivity. Inderjeet excels in qualitative and quantitative research and analysis in areas such as Electric Mobility, EV Charging Infrastructure, Non-Motorized Transport (NMT) Infrastructure, and Last Mile Connectivity. She possesses a proficient skill set, including expertise in QGIS, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, PTV Vissim, Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and report writing. Known for her creative thinking and teamwork, Inderjeet is dedicated to contributing to urban environments.
Prabhnoor Singh
Transport Planner
Prabhnoor is a Transport Planner by profession. He has done his bachelor's degree Urban & Regional Planning from Lovely Professional university, Jalandhar and master’s degree Transportation Planning from Guru Nanak Dev university, Amritsar. His experience in planning has so far been in the field of electric buses, urban and transportation infrastructure. His work motto is “CAP-GRASS” that is to achieve paramount basics at grassroot levels and promote skill and capacity building to create shatterproof skeletal for urban development.
