Preparation of urban road and BRT system design and assisting in the preparation of DPR for EM Bypass, Kolkata

Scope of work included complete urban road re-development including GAD Drawings, Sections and Cost Estimates for DPR of EM Bypass, BRT corridor Kolkata. Site studies (including traffic data analysis) to formulate urban street (network) planning and design solution (including intersection location and planning) development of DPR, preparation of GAD drawings (including carriageway, junctions, pedestrian infrastructure, bicycle infrastructure, bus lanes, street furniture, signage, services design, pavement marking designs, etc.), preparation of working drawings, detailed junction design, signal phase designing. Additional responsibilities included assisting the Project Management Consultant (PMC) to manage execution and making presentation to various governnment organizations and stakeholders like Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA), RITES, RVNL, etc.
